Tributes Continue for the Reiners as Medical Examiner's Findings Are Sealed.

More than two weeks after the tragic deaths of esteemed film director Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michele Reiner, the entertainment community continue to honor the couple.

‘Life is Pain Without You’: Cary Elwes Pays Tribute to His Director

Writing on social media, actor Cary Elwes, who rose to fame in Reiner's beloved 1987 film *The Princess Bride*, explained he finally felt able to share openly about his profound loss.

"Sufficient time has passed that I can now articulate my loss into words," wrote Elwes, noting that his first meeting with Reiner made him fall in love. "As we began passing more hours together I understood this was someone I desired in my life."

The actor shared archival material from the movie, commenting that he could not remember "one day without mirth".

"The film is about affection, allegiance and giving. Things that Rob valued immensely. That is part of the many reasons he was the perfect person to guide it," Elwes wrote.

He also paid tribute Michele Reiner, saying: "Claiming that they were a great team would be an oversimplification. My heart still pangs every time I recall you." He ended with a line from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but existence is agony without you."

Martin Scorsese Reflects on a Friend and Collaborator

In a separate tribute, legendary director Martin Scorsese shared memories of Reiner, whom he originally knew in the 1970s.

"From the start, I loved spending time with Rob. We had a instant connection for each other. He was uproarious and sometimes bitingly funny, but he was never the kind of guy who would dominate the room," Scorsese wrote.

Scorsese pointed out Reiner's acting part in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, playing the father of the lead role.

"His improvisation skills with the best. He was a expert at comedy, he worked beautifully with everyone, and he understood the emotional dilemma of his character," Scorsese added.

Judicial Actions: Autopsy Reports Sealed

This week, a Los Angeles judge agreed to block the release of the Reiners' autopsy reports, at the request from the Los Angeles Police Department.

A judicial mandate put a security hold on the files to prohibit the public release of "all case details, documents, files or images" connected to the active case.

The coroner's office had previously confirmed their deaths were the result of foul play, with a official listing listing the cause as "multiple sharp force injuries".

Aftermath and Reactions

Following the deaths, public personalities shared divergent responses.

Former President Donald Trump wrote on the matter, making divisive remarks that were met with immediate backlash by numerous commentators.

Podcaster Joe Rogan contributed his perspective to the detractors recently. Speaking on his podcast, Rogan labeled the comments as "shocking" and suggested they revealed a concerning lack of empathy.

Rogan ended by proposing that an aide ought to have stepped in when the impulse to speak on the death was made.
